Animating my world...
Hi! I'm Vivienne Peña (maiden name Crews), a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC, where I studied computer art, computer animation & visual effects. I moved back to Florida, where I lived for my whole life, with my growing family and my husband, Sean Pena.
For as far back as I can remember, I have been using my drawing skills to express my emotions and to communicate with my hearing family and the world. Facial expression, body position, and subtle movement are used to convey the details of my language—American Sign computer animation language—and I rely heavily on these tools in my artwork, too. 3D computer animation allows me to bring my characters and their stories to life, something I've dreamed of since I was very young. I am so eager to continue on my learning journey toward my future career as a storyboard artist.
