Animating my world...
Hi! I'm Vivienne Crews, a recent graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC where I studied Computer Art, Computer Animation & Visual Effects. Moving to the big apple from Miami, Florida, where I grew up, has been an exciting (and chilly) adventure for me, and I love the visual energy of this city. There is so much to see and so much inspiration for my work everywhere I look.
For as far back as I can remember, I have been using my drawing skills to express my emotions and to communicate with my hearing family and the world. Facial expression, body position, and subtle movement are used to convey the details of my language – American Sign Language – and I rely heavily on these tools in my artwork, too. 3D Computer Animation allows me to bring my characters and their stories to life, something I've dreamed of since I was very young. I am so eager to continue on my learning journey toward my future career as a storyboard artist.
